@ozzyman1203 It's either your glass it dirty or your water isn't clear enough.. I have a "Pure-Water" distiller. And I keep the electrodes very clean too.Also 4 batteries would be better. I have a pyramid power supply with adjustable current and voltage. 29.7v@ up to 5amps. I don't cook mine to yellow though. mine's clear. But it tastes as strong as the health store bought ionic silver.. i keep it stirred when cooking too... I don't heat mine but then I don't have to..

I tried making a batch, I used 4 9volt batteries, a "multi-meter" followed directions and the test showed 22.3 & 22.9 when I tested as per instructions.. and it said I should see higher than 4???? i set it up a gain, 4 9volts + to - and alligator clips on opposite ends for 35 minutes & 2 more with just + silver rod..."what am I doing wrong?

also when i initially got the .15PPM the water was still hot from being heated, Now the water is cooled off and its much lower PPM number. So does the temp of the water have anything to do with maybe a false reading i got initially? The water still looks the same, it still has a slight yellow tint to it.. I just don't understand why the number is dropping like that.

Can anyone help me out. I made some Colloidal Silver yesterday and when i was done i took a PPM reading and i had .15PPM (the water was a slight yellow color) I poured it into a second mason jar that i had rinsed with distilled water, and used a coffee filter to trap any residue . Anyways today i took a PPM reading of the water and its ready .6PPM??? Why is the PPM number dropping like that? Is it because i used distilled water to rinse the 2nd jar out?

@acortot no. depends on the use. if fighting an infection you do want an almost clear but with a tint. If your fighting something like a staff infection or acne you want a dark silver (500 ppm or 250 ppm) to put directly on your skin and take the almost clear by mouth but clear silver can be absorbed directly by the immune system and should be used for over all health and to avoid getting flues or any new thing that the American government decides to release into the air or water.

? You're making IONIC colloidal silver - when ingested, and it hits sulfates in the body you have silver sulfate which has zero power. CS should have 5-20 ppm of actual silver. The silver wires that you're using will last very long since you're not taking much silver off the wire. The IONIC silver IS good used outside of the body. It wont help much internally once it hits sulfate in our bodies. Problems are created when people "cook" it for long periods and then ingest it. healthyhank

What I neglected to mention was that chlorine dioxide is used to fumigate houses that have mold. They put a giant cover/tent over a building and blow the chlorine dioxide in. I think it has to sit for three days, then it is safe to re-enter after the fumigation is done. Whew! Glad I got that all str8ened out. :)

I guess I was thinking of MMS (miracle mineral supplement) aka chlorine dioxide. Google "Jim Humble MMS" and you will find info. Sorry, my mistake linking colloidal silver to this. I had seen a YT video right before this and still had MMS on the brain. Actually, colloidal silver has been used for a long time for burn patients (Silvadene). Colloidal silver = great stuff! The "blue man" media brought out was disinfo. You'd have to drink quarts a day to get "blue" like that. HTH

If you wanna test whether the solution contains ionic silver heres a simple method. Dissolve some table salt in a ml or so of water. Add a drop or two of the silver solution to the salt water solution. If the solution remains clear it means theres no ionic silver present. Sorry I shoulda said run a wire from both terminals of a battery. If you can drop into a shop were they sell electronics parts pickup some copper wire and a 9v battery snap connector and a bit of silver wire then you can run electricity through your silver solutions which if my theory is correct will neutralize the silver ions. All you do is run two bits of copper wire from the batter and attach them to two pieces of silver wire then submerge each piece of silver wire in the solution.

Useless? The MSDS for silver chloride states that its toxic. I just googled ionic silver and don't know what to make of this. Silver ions do react with chloride ions I've seen it for myself and since stomach acid is HCl my logic would tell me that drinking ionic silver would produce significant amounts of silver chloride in the stomach. Deionizing the silver now that would be very easy to do. Simple attach a wire to the negative terminal of a battery and submerge the wire in the solution.

No, Gold will not just become 'ionic' in that gold is not water soluble in it's base form the way silver is water soluble. This is why gold is made (mostly) with an electric arc, physical vapor processing. The exact volt/amps etc.. boils down to optimal vapor temperature and the transition into the liquid. (gold is hydrophobic) so the transition is also important to get a good result.

Quick question: When you make colloidal "silver" in the general way, you are actually producing ionic silver as well as colloidal silver. Really I wasn't told what kind of alloys. Here is some good news about mercury though. Dr, David Bronstein, online, who has tested urine after people take iodine (not in people's diets the way it used to be, at all, at all) and he says lot of mercury then comes out in the urine. You can take Lugol's or Isodoral, or paint Povidine Iodine on the body. One also needs iodide too which can come from kelp. I purchased a foot of silver wire from the same guy you got your generator from, efreeme7. He has changed the description of his wire since my purchase because of some questions about the misleading "four nines" (fooled me). The four nines in his silver is actually just 2 nines 99.99. The funny taste is lead and other impurities. I changed it out with 99.999 wire and what a huge difference! Same Gage and half the price of efreeme7's crap.

Thanks for that input. I appreciate that clarity. My batches have been clear-ish, white-ish, somewhat, cloudy-ish, silvery-ish, forshizzle-ish. Dont quote me on that last description though. I finally did some in depth research that confirmed your description & my results. Thanks man. By the way, I also run my batch thru a "Brita" water filter to remove any heavier silver particles, then I resume for an hour and run it again thru the Brita. My PPM is about 15-24. Very nice results w/ this
